Maxine Kirmaier

NEW MADRID - Maxine McReynolds Kirmaier, 79, died Nov. 25, 2001, at Beverly Healthcare.

Born Jan. 21, 1922, daughter of the late Ralph Clifford and Stella Josephine Menke McReynolds, she was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Church in Cape Girardeau. She served as a board member on several committees for the American Cancer Society and founded Maxine's Shareables Wearables at St. Vincent de Paul Church.

On Aug. 19, 1972, at New Madrid, she married Raymond Anthony Kirmaier who preceded her in death on Dec. 14, 1974.

Survivors include: three daughters, Dianne Compton of New Madrid, Marsha Ball of Raleigh, N.C., and Jackie McReynolds of Vancouver, Wash.; two brothers, Bob McReynolds of Wappapello and Jim McReynolds of Hannibal; and three grandchildren.

One brother also preceded her in death.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau.

Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Vincent de Paul Church with the Rev. Dan Schulte officiating.

Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
