John Nocera

CHAFFEE - John Nocera, 66, died at 9:30 p.m. Nov. 22, 2001, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born April 3, 1935, in Buffalo, N.Y., son of the late Charles John and Florence Nocera, he retired as a plant manager for American Can Company in St. Louis and was a veteran of the U.S. Army and U.S. Marine Corps. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Chaffee.

Survivors include: one son, Charles Nocera of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Flo Maglothin of Sherman, Texas, and Kathleen Fowler of Chaffee; three sisters, Rosie LaVerde of Denver, Colo., and Antoinette Mecca and Jenny Renaldo of Buffalo; and six grandchildren.

A memorial service is scheduled for 4 p.m. Friday at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Chaffee with the Rev. Wayne Schwiesow officiating.

Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel of Chaffee is in charge of arrangements.
