George Tousky

WYATT - George Tousky, 81, died at 9:45 p.m. Jan. 14, 2002, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born Feb. 5, 1920, in Dardanelle, Ark., son of the late Louis and Josey Pigeon Tousky, he lived in Mississippi County most of his life. A U.S. Army veteran of World War II and the Korean War, he was of the Catholic belief.

His wife, Carolyn Faye Adams Tousky, preceded him in death on Oct. 12, 1992.

Survivors include: two daughters, Melissa Tousky and Teresa Tousky of Wyatt; three sisters, Marvena Dufaux of Orange, Calif., Josephine Tousky of Florida and Frances Sweet of New York; and one granddaughter, Michaela Clark of Wyatt.

Two brothers also preceded him in death.

Friends may call from 10:30 a.m. Wednesday until service time at 11 a.m. at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. The Rev. Kenneth Gibson, pastor of Living Water Fellowship in Charleston, will officiate.

Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
