Dorothy Caldwell

DEXTER - Dorothy LaVerne Caldwell, 70, died Nov. 26, 2001, at the Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Center in Dexter.

Born Jan. 29, 1931, at Dexter, to the late Lee Rowe and Maude Joseph Rowe, she attended the Pleasant Grove Church near Dexter.

On May 22, 1949, at Dexter, she married Richard Caldwell, who survives of the home in Dexter.

Other survivors include: one son, Michael Caldwell of Poplar Bluff; one daughter, Brenda Rolwing of Sikeston; two sisters, Betty Heinlein of Belleville, Ill., and Barbara Hargrave of Dupo, Ill.; and two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

One sister, Virginia Rowe, preceded her in death.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Rainey Funeral Home in Dexter, where services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Dale Shearon will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
