Thelma Wamble

LINCOLN PARK, Mich. - Thelma Mae Wamble, 86, formerly of Dexter, Mo., died Nov. 26, 2001, at the Rivergate Healthcare Center in Riverview.

Born May 6, 1915, in Stoddard County, daughter of the late Almond and Nancy Robinson Martin, she had lived in Michigan for several years, where she was a member of the Ecorse Baptist Church.

She was married to Max V. Wamble who preceded her in death on Dec. 4, 1986.

Survivors include: one son, Danny James Wamble of Lincoln Park; two brothers, Melvin Martin and Elvin Martin of Washington; three sisters, Leatha O'Dell and Lois Davis of Dexter, Mo., and Louise Brady of Bloomfield, Mo.; and four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Thelma Maxine Lotti; and three brothers, Raymond Martin, Cecil Martin and Elvis Martin.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday.

Burial will follow in the Triplett Cemetery near Dexter.
