Terry Comstock
MOREHOUSE - Terry Comstock, 55, died Jan. 25, 2002, at his home.
Born Jan. 25, 1947, in Sikeston, son of the late Leo and Barbara "Betty" McDowell Comstock, he was a self-employed building contractor. In July 2001, he went to work as a commercial sales pro for Lowe's Warehouse in Sikeston and was of the Baptist belief.
On Oct. 26, 1963, he married Evelyn Cochran who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: three sons, Tony Comstock of Canalou, Tim Comstock of Sikeston and Mike Comstock of Morehouse; two brothers, Lee Comstock of Sikeston and Jimmy Comstock of Dexter; one sister, Melinda Kennedy of Park Hills; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Thomas Allen Comstock.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston, where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday. The Rev. Kelly Grubbs, pastor of Murray Lane Baptist Church, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Union Cemetery near Zalma.
Active pallbearers will be: Harold Sansing, Gary Harper Sr., Jason Ginder, Terry Bell, Jerry Taylor and Bob Stinnett.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Brent Taylor, Brandon Taylor, Roger Emory, Dave Huntsman, Chuck Kaminsky and Gary Harper Jr.
