DEXTER - Cleo Alvin Mossman, 77, died Nov. 15, 2001, at Missouri Southern Healthcare.

Born Feb. 26, 1924, at Puxico, son of the late Heber and Millie Fagan Mossman, he was an automobile mechanic in San Francisco Bay, Calif., for 40 years and member of the First Church of God in Dexter.

On March 5, 1943, at Dexter, he married Sarah Marie Estes who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one brother, the Rev. Thomas Mossman of Poplar Bluff; two sisters, Mayme Spangler of Roseburg, Ore., and Thelma Brown of Dexter; two half brothers, W.J. Lowe of Piedmont and Claude Lowe of Puxico; and one half sister, Josetta Brown of Clinton, Pa.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Hermis Mossman and Melvis Mossman; one sister, Katherine Corbin; one half brother, Mertan Mossman; and one half sister, Minnie O'Neal.

Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. today at Rainey Funeral Home in Dexter with the Rev. Rick Patterson officiating.

Burial will follow in the Hagy Cemetery.
