Helen Bandermann
GRAY SUMMIT - Helen Elizabeth Bandermann, 76, died Dec. 27, 2001.
Born April 22, 1925, in Copeland, Kan., daughter of the late Edward Henry and Frances Henrietta Lemm Wallace, she attended the First Assembly of God Church in Gray Summit. She attended the Gray Summit Methodist Church for many years, where she served as the church pianist and organist, and also taught piano to students.
On Sept. 30, 1944, she married August Jacob Bandermann who preceded her in death.
Survivors include: three sons and daughters-in-law, William and Linda Bandermann of Gray Summit, Stanley and Janice Bandermann of Sikeston and Rick and Pam Bandermann of Cape Girardeau; eight grandchildren, Lisa Jostes of High Ridge, David Bandermann of Byrnes Mill, Elizabeth Bandermann of Sikeston, Matthew Bandermann and Madelyn Bandermann of Sikeston and Jason Bandermann, Ryan Bandermann and Kyle Bandermann of Cape Girardeau; and four great-grandchildren.
Services were conducted Sunday at the Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair with the Rev. Daniel Kern and the Rev. Ron Walter officiating.
Burial followed in the Brush Creek Cemetery at Gray Summit.
