Marlin Dunn
DEXTER - Marlin Dunn, 65, died Nov. 12, 2001, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Born March 22, 1936, at Uniontown, Ky., son of the late John and Minnie Overfield Dunn, he owned the 225 Package Store in Dexter and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
On June 10, 1978, at Oak Lawn, Ill., he married JoAnn Koch who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two sons, Patrick Dunn of New Caney, Texas, and Eric Dunn of the home; one daughter, Marla Speakman of Lake Benton, Minn.; one stepdaughter, Nicole Crowley of Woodridge, Ill.; three brothers, James Dunn of Uniontown, Roy Dunn of Morganfield, Ky., and Sylvester Lyle Dunn of Sylvester, Ga.; five sisters, Imogene Linton, Shirley Carley and Kay Minton of Uniontown and Patricia Nally and Alice Corsi of Cleveland, Ohio; and four grandchildren and two stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Andrea Dunn; one brother, Albert Dunn; and one sister, Martha Gregory.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Rainey Funeral Home in Dexter, where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Adam Mueller, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
