Dorothy Norris

CAPE GIRARDEAU - Dorothy Marie Wiggins Norris, 44, died Jan. 30, 2002, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born Sept. 13, 1957, in Sikeston, daughter of Dorothy Lee Thornton of Sikeston and Percy Burgett of Clarksdale, Miss., she was a 1974 graduate of Sikeston High School and member of Green Memorial Church of God in Christ. She was a former employee of Hunter Acres Caring Center.

On Feb. 4, 1984, she married Michael Morris.

Other survivors include: two sons, Aaron Wiggins and Michael Norris of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Serena Bond of Sikeston and Angelo Nichol Wiggins of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Lisa Thomas Corke, Sharron Artis and Patsy Wiggins of Sikeston; two brothers, Mark Wiggins of Baltimore, Md., and Larry Wiggins of Atlanta, Ga.; her stepfather, Jesse Lee Thornton of Sikeston; and two grandchildren.

Visitation is from 1:30 p.m. Sunday until service time at 2:30 p.m. at Green Memorial Church of God in Christ. Bishop Charlie Green, pastor, will officiate.

Burial will follow in Sunset of Memories Cemetery.
