Addie Rhoden
HAYWOOD CITY - Addie Mae Rhoden, 74, died July 16, 2004, at her home.
Born Nov. 14, 1929, in LaGrange, Ark., daughter of the late Jessie and Nova Mooie Watson, she was a member of the Salcedo Baptist Church.
On Oct. 18, 1952, she married Roosevelt Rhoden who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: four sons, John Henry Rhoden and Cletis Rhoden of Haywood City, Steve Rhoden of Sikeston and Larry Rhoden of Kansas City; four daughters, Mary Alice Stewart, Jeanie Winfield, Teresa Baker and Gloria Williams of Sikeston; four brothers, Jessie Watson Jr., Nathaniel Watson and Eddie Watson of St. Louis and Elijah Watson of Marion, Ind.; two sisters, Bertha Mae Jackson Wheeler of Sikeston and Betty Sue Dorsey of St. Anne, Ill.; and 62 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
One daughter, one sister, one brother and one granddaughter preceded her in death.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Green Memorial Church of God in Christ in Sikeston, where services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Alex Sims will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Haywood City Cemetery.
Williams Funeral Home of Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
