Rita Myers

MOREHOUSE - Rita Myers, 41, formerly of East Prairie, died at 7 p.m. Dec. 1, 2001, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born Jan. 31, 1960, in Cairo, Ill., daughter of the late Joe B. and Kathleen Couch Myers, she was of the Pentecostal belief.

Survivors include: one son, Randall Johnson of Morehouse; two daughters, Chasity Housman of Steele and Rockelle Harris of Troy; one brother, Gary Myers of Morehouse; and six sisters, Vicki Sanders and Shirley Chance of East Prairie, Betty Chapman and Marie Myers of Centralia, Ill., Penny Houston of Troy and Joetta Blumenberg of Wright City.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Barbara Foster; and two brothers, Larry Myers and James E. Myers.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be conducted at 4 p.m. today at the Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie with her brother officiating.
