SIKESTON - Kelly Goza has been hailed as "Sikeston's Biggest Liar." The award was made this morning at Lambert's Cafe with the Rev. Edward Watson presenting the trophy to the winner of a recent poll. Mr. Goza smiled happily as he held the symbolic trophy - a miniature golden man throwing a bull - and for once, he was speechless.

SIKESTON - Pleas Malcolm, postmaster, reports that the holiday volume of mail this year is running about equal to that of last year. There are no delays in deliveries.

SIKESTON - Two Sikeston physicians and a third from Omaha, Neb., have had an article published in the November issue of The Journal of Urology, Volume 126. The article on "Familial Aggregation of Urothelial Carcinoma" was written by Drs. Aziz O' Mahboubi and Robert C. Ahlvin of Sikeston and Dr. Ezzat O. Mahboubi of Omaha.

SIKESTON - Ed Boyd took the task of painting and repairing rooms at the Miner Baptist Church to earn his Eagle Scout Badge. The Eagle Scout Badge is the highest honor a Boy Scout can receive. Boyd and his Troop 43 members, Adam Kineman, Todd Anthony, Mike Myers, Michael Britton and Joey Myers, painted the rooms.
