Case takes checkered flag in Rookie Class at SEMO Raceway

SIKESTON - In the Rookie Class Saturday night, Alex Case, 11, of Bardwell, Ky., took the lead on the white flag lap with some three wide racing in the corners of turn 3 on the 1/5 mile clay oval and wins the checkered.

This race was one of those where you did not know who would take the checkered flag as the last four laps where filled with swapping leaders between the pole sitter, Mason Oberkramer of Broseley (who led eight of the 12 lap feature), Shawn Knuckles of Poplar Bluff and Cameron Stewart of Paducah, Ky.

These Racers will be back in action at SEMO July 24th, where they will be competing for Double points.
