Bonnie Harrell

PORTAGEVILLE - Bonnie Odell Harrell, 77, died Dec. 27, 2001, at the Portageville Nursing Center.

Born Nov. 20, 1924, in Portageville, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Monroe and Coral Alexander Welch.

On Aug. 2, 1958, in Taylor, Ill., she married Ernest W. Harrell who preceded her in death on June 2, 1990.

Survivors include: one stepson, Benjamin Harrell of St. Louis; one stepdaughter, Francis Peterson of Chesterfield; two brothers, Paul "Pete" Welch of Portageville and Donald M. Welch of Springfield, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Larry Hornback.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. Wednesday at DeLisle Funeral Home, where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Danny Stevens, officiating.

Burial will follow in the Portageville Cemetery.
