Lexie Kincade

SIKESTON - Lexie Kincade, 62, died Dec. 29, 2001, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

Born May 7, 1939, in Morley, son of the late Connie and Beulah Mize Kincade, he retired in 1982 as a master sergeant with the U.S. Army.

On March 9, 1976, he married Bonnie Travis who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two sons, Vernon Dale Kincade of Benton and Derek Kincade of Sikeston; one daughter, Tammy Van Cise of Augusta, Ga.; one sister, Colleen Wilkinson of Blairsville, Ga.; two grandchildren; and cousins, including Mary Hays of Morley, with whom he was raised.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Pauline Brock, and his twin brothers.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Ponder Funeral Home, where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Bob Burnes, pastor of House of Prayer General Baptist Church of Grant City, will officiate.

Full graveside military honors will be conducted at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
