SIKESTON - Esther Lee Zook, 71, died Dec. 13, 2007, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born March 5, 1936, in Arkansas, to the late Floyd and Annie Brown Duncan, she was a housewife and member of the First Oneness Pentecostal Church of Morehouse.
She married David Lewis Martin, who preceded her in death.On Dec. 8, 1961, in Benton, she married Oliver Zook, who preceded her in death on May 5, 1997.
She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Jeanette Zook Parker.
Survivors include: two sons, Paul Martin and Lee Zook of Sikeston; one daughter, Marlene Fuchs of Sikeston; five brothers, Floyd Duncan of Morehouse, Ralph Duncan, Richard Duncan and Wayne Duncan of Rolla and Billy Duncan of Boise, Idaho; three sisters, Jane Collins of Tulsa, Okla., Judy Richie of Morehouse and Peggy Duncan of Sikeston; four grandchildren, Gene Tidwell Jr. of Dexter, Debra Jolly of Sikeston, Steven L. Zook of Clinton, Iowa and Ted Allen Parker Jr. of Sikeston; and seven great-grandchildren. Shae Tidwell, Hope Mannon, McKenna Tidwell, Rae Lee Zook, Boston Zook, Kennedy Zook and Cooper Tidwell.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. Monday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. The Rev. Jimmy Vent, pastor of the First Oneness Pentecostal Church, will officiate.
Burial will follow in Essex Cemetery.
