Ivan Morris

SIKESTON - Ivan "Semo" Morris, 41, died Jan. 1, 2002, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

Born April 23, 1960, in Malden, son of Essie B. Steward of Sikeston and the late Josh Morris, he graduated in 1978 from Sikeston Public Schools and attended Sanford-Brown College in St. Louis.

Survivors in addition to his mother include: one daughter, Deshyia Deshelle Shannon of Sikeston; one brother, Melvin Steward of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Gracie B. Morris and Tracy Steward of Sikeston.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. Saturday until service time at noon at Greer's Chapel Baptist Church in Sikeston. The Rev. Roy Bonner, pastor, will officiate.

Burial will follow Sunset of Memories Cemetery.

Williams-Farr and Purnell Funeral Home of Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
