A. Wayne Findley
PUXICO - A. Wayne Findley, 72, died Nov. 10, 2001, at his home.
Born Nov. 22, 1928, in Puxico, son of the late Alfred L. and Pearl King Findley, he lived in the Puxico and Poplar Bluff areas all his life. A retired commercial vehicle inspector with the Missouri State Highway Patrol, he was affiliated with the Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and had served in the Signal Corps.
On July 29, 1972, in Puxico, he married Beverly Siler who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son, Ronnie D. Stuart of Wappapello; two brothers, F.A. Findley of Poplar Bluff and Ray Dean Findley of Columbia; one sister, Wanda Parker of Columbia; and two grandchildren.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. Tuesday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico where services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Ray Placher and Elder Jerry Park of Puxico will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Puxico Cemetery.
