Juldene Almond

BLOOMFIELD - Juldene Almond, 75, died Jan. 15, 2002, in Bloomfield.

Born June 10, 1926, in Bloomfield, daughter of the late Jim and Opal Lane Long, she was a lifelong resident of Bloomfield, where she retired from Elder Manufacturing in 1985 after 37 years of service. She was of the Baptist belief.

On Dec. 6, 1941, she married Thurman Almond who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son, Mike Almond of Dexter; two daughters, Judy Almond of Bloomfield and Connie Almond of Sikeston; and two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home, where services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday.

Burial will follow in the Bloomfield Cemetery.
