Willie Curry Jr.

WYATT - Willie Curry Jr., 63, died Jan. 12, 2002, at Forest Park Hospital in St. Louis.

Born April 16, 1938, in Charleston, son of the late Willie and Ruby M. Curry, he was a lifelong resident of Mississippi County.

Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Ella and Jerome Buress Cassell of St. Louis; seven sisters, Irene Harris, Mary Williams and Nellie McCoy of Benton Harbor, Mich., Alice Kent of Blytheville, Ark., Erma Naylor of Pontiac, Mich., Evelyn Curry, address unavailable and Rose Lampkin of Ohio; two brothers, Charlie Curry of Dallas, Texas, and Claude "K.C." Curry of Tallahassee, Fla.; and six grandchildren.

Friends may call from noon Saturday until service time at 3 p.m. at Sparks Funeral Home in Charleston. The Rev. Juliet Hemphill will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
