Dathel Rowland

WYATT - Dathel M. Rowland, 88, died Jan. 15, 2002, at her home.

Born Sept. 9, 1913, in Mississippi County, daughter of the late Robert and Minnie Pearl Sullivan Hayden, she was a lifelong resident of Mississippi County and member of the Wyatt Baptist Church.

On Oct. 18, 1930, she married Albert Rowland who preceded her in death on May 26, 1975.

Survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Phillip and Sue Rowland of Wyatt and Hubert and Julie Rowland of Lombard, Ill.; one daughter and son-in-law, Sue and Jim Kellett of Bertrand; one brother, Robert Lee Hayden Jr. of Campbell; and eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Three sisters, Margaret Parker, Artie Reeves and Effie Marshall also preceded her in death.

Friends may call from 4:30 to 8 p.m. today at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston, where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. Dean Wallace, pastor of the Wyatt Baptist Church, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the IOOF Cemetery near Charleston.

Pallbearers will be: Patrick Kellett, Phil Rowland, Albert Rowland, Jeffrey Rowland, Russell Rowland, Seth Rowland and Todd Hall.
