BENTON - Scott County Commissioners awarded the bid to supply materials for the renovation of courthouse to the apparent low bidder, Kelso Supply in Kelso.
Commissioners reviewed the three bids received for materials during their regular meeting Tuesday. The other two bidders were Morley Building Supply in Morley and House of Color in Sikeston.
The list of items to be supplied includes drywall, drywall sealer and primer, metal studs, paint, screws, tape, fire-rated doors and drop ceilings.
Commissioners opted to purchase all the materials from a single vendor so they can "keep straight what comes from where," according to Commissioner Jamie Burger.
