Perry Jolliff
SIKESTON - Perry Jolliff, 66, died Dec. 20, 2001, at his home.
Born Feb. 12, 1935, at Rover, son of the late Aaron George and Nora Hamilton Jolliff, he was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church for 35 years and was superintendent at International Shoe Factory until its closing. He owned and operated Jolliff Aviation.
On Sept. 20, 1951, in Hardy, Ark., he married Margaret Fox who surives of the home.
Other survivors include: three sons, Donald Lynn Jolliff of Painton, Perry Wayne Jolliff of Dexter and Rickie Eugene Jolliff of Rogers, Ark.; two brothers, Kenneth Jolliff and Carl Jolliff of Peoria, Ill; one sister, Aretha Newnam of Peoria; and five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Aaron G. Jolliff Jr.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston.
Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at Fellowship Baptist Church with the Rev. Ricky Cunningham, pastor of Hardin Baptist Church, officiating. He will be assisted by the Rev. Robert Medlock, a retired Baptist minister.
Burial will follow at 3 p.m. in the Jolliff Cemetery in Rover.
Pallbearers will be: Ronnie Jolliff, Mark Jolliff, Kevin Jolliff, Aaron Jolliff, Christopher Jolliff, Donnie Lynn Jolliff and Carroll Newnam.
