Hazel Walker
ALLENVILLE - Hazel P. Walker, 79, died at 12:18 p.m. Dec. 24, 2001, at the Chaffee Nursing Center.
Born Jan. 15, 1922, in Aberdeen, Ohio, daughter of the late Elza and Myrtie Denton Pott, she retired as a machine operator for the Florsheim Shoe Company in Cape Girardeau.
She was a Sunday school teacher and member of the Free Trinity Pentecostal Church in Randles for many years.
On Nov. 26, 1954, she married Clyde Walker who preceded her in death on Dec. 29, 1989.
Survivors include: one daughter, Velma Jean Tucker of Ohio; one brother, Billy Poff of Maysville, Ky.; one sister, Cloia Kinder of Randles; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Three sisters also preceded her in death.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. today until service time at 7 p.m. at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. The Rev. Vester Keesee will officiate.
Burial is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the Williams Cemetery in Perkins.
