Anna Duley

IDALIA - Anna Duley, 54, died Nov. 20, 2001, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born Dec. 19, 1946, in Essex, daughter of the late Elmer Lewis and Bessie Irene Purcell Sanders, she lived in Essex before moving to Idalia 10 years ago and was a member of the South Pleasant Valley General Baptist Church.

On July 10, 1993, near Essex, she married Melvin Duley who preceded her in death on Jan. 27, 1999.

Survivors include: one son, Richard Sanders of Bloomfield; four brothers, Junior Sanders, Roy Sanders, Donald Sanders and Doyle Sanders of Essex; and two sisters, Mildred Williams and Geraldine Duncan of Essex.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers, James Sanders and Charles Sanders; and two sisters, Martha DeSmyther and Wilma Alberson.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Kenneth White of Bloomfield will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Essex Cemetery.
