Viola Arnold

NEW MADRID - Viola K. Arnold, 80, died at 12:15 p.m. Nov. 30, 2001, at the Beverly Nursing Center.

Born Sept. 2, 1921, in St. Louis, daughter of the late August A. and Lucy Brown Zartt, she was a seamstress for Lighthouse for the bind in St. Louis and was a member of the United Methodist Church in New Madrid.

On Oct. 22, 1955, she married Curtis Arnold who preceded her in death on Jan. 23, 1992.

She is survived by her friends and the staff at Beverly Nursing Center.

Friends may call after 1 p.m. Tuesday at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie until time of services at 2 p.m. with Bill Reid officiating.

Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
