Preston Whitley

MARSTON - Preston E. Whitley, 72, died Nov. 21, 2001, in Marston.

Born March 6, 1929, in Middle, Tenn., he was the son of the late Jess and Gerthie Whitley.

On April 26, 1955, in Arkansas, he married Marcella Hampton who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son, Darrell Whitley of Lilbourn; three daughters, Sharon Brooks, Janet Johnson and Donna Whitley of Illinois; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne Whitley and Prenance Whitley.

Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Wayne Tribble officiating.

Burial will follow in the Portageville Cemetery.
