John McFall Sr.

DEXTER - John L. McFall Sr., 65, died Nov. 21, 2001, at his home.

Born Jan. 20, 1936, at Morley, son of the late George W. and Gertrude McDaniels McFall, he was a retired truck driver. He served with the U.S. Navy on the USS O'Brien and USS Dortch and was a member of American Legion Post 1000 in Dexter.

On Jan. 25, 1957, at Delta, he married Ruby Denney who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two sons, Jeff McFall of Dexter and John L. McFall Jr. of Scott City; one daughter, Gwen Hare of Ava; one brother, Gendron McFall of Scott City; and nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Alvin W. McFall, and one sister, Imogene Daniels.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Rainey Funeral Home in Dexter.

Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at the Mount Tabor Church in Ava with the Rev. Tim Johnson officiating.

Burial will follow in the Mount Tabor Cemetery.
