CHARLESTON - Marie Bryant Morrow, 88, died at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 6, 2002, at the Bertrand Nursing Facility.

Born Feb. 21, 1913, in Blodgett, daughter of the late William and Dora L. Myers, she lived in Scott and Mississippi counties her entire life and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Charleston. She had been employed as a floor lady for the International Shoe Company in Sikeston.

She then co-owned and operated Bryant Jewelry and Florist Shop in Charleston until her retirement.

On May 1, 1955, she married Robert "Bob" Bryant who preceded her in death on Aug. 21, 1975.

She and Elbert Morrow were married in November 1977 and he died in February 1994.

One brother, one sister and two nieces also preceded her in death.

Survivors include: one cousin, Loretta Henly of Sikeston who was also her caregiver; and five nephews and one niece.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. Tuesday until service time at 1 p.m. at McMikle Funeral Home. The Rev. Gerald Collier, pastor of the First Baptist Church, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the IOOF Cemetery near Charleston.
