Eva Crowell

SIKESTON - Eva Crowell, 93, died Jan. 5, 2002, at the Clearview Nursing Center.

Born Jan. 11, 1908, in Marcola, Ore., daughter of the late Frank and Ann Starks, she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Sikeston.

Her husband, Walter N. "Boyd" Crowell, preceded her in death on April 7, 1985.

Survivors include: one son, Bill Crowell of Sikeston; one brother, Loyd Starks of Lindale, Texas; and three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

One daughter, Ann Frankum, and one sister, Wavel Mocabee, also preceded her in death.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home, where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. David Johnson, pastor of the First Baptist Church, will officiate.

Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.

Pallbearers will be: Jim Turner, Ron Medler, Mike Thurston, Bob Miller, Joe Burk and Jim Keller.
