Barry Scott
PUXICO - Barry Scott, 60, died Jan. 5, 2002, at Three Rivers Healthcare North in Poplar Bluff.
Born July 9, 1941, in Poplar Bluff, son of Alvin and Mildred Smith Scott of Puxico, he lived in the Puxico area all his life. A 1959 graduate of Puxico High School, he attended Missouri University in Columbia from 1960-62 and attended the Leora Baptist Church. He was a roofing contractor and owned and operated Com-Serv Incorporated in Puxico.
On Jan. 23, 1965, at Puxico, he married Virginia Henderson who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son, James C. Scott of Dexter; two daughters, Regina Baugher of Puxico and Sherri Clinton of Nashville, Tenn.; one brother, Doug Scott of Puxico; and six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, where services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Doug Scott of Puxico and the Rev. Dean Medlin of Parma will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Rock Hill Cemetery near Puxico.
