W.T. Colson

BARLOW, Ky. - W.T. Thomas Colson, 76, died Dec., 20, 2001.

Born Feb. 14, 1925, in Kentucky, son of the late Jr. and Ruth Wilkerson Colson, he was a retired farmer and a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Eagles Club and American Legion Post 3.

He was married to Fay Colson who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two sons, Mike Colson and Terry Colson of Barlow; three daughters, Shirley Grief of Orlando, Fla., and Sudie Curtis and Shelia Blankenship of Barlow; three brothers, Pat Colson and Larry Colson of East Prairie, Mo., and Joe Colson of Carmi, Ill.; one sister, Sudie Nell Wybark of Johnathon Creek; and eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

One sister and two brothers preceded him in death.

Services were conducted Saturday at the Morrow Funeral Home in LaCenter.

Burial followed in the LaCenter Cemetery.
