Inez Dame

SIKESTON - Inez E. Prindle Dame, 89, died at 6:50 a.m. Dec. 7, 2001, at her home.

Born Feb. 23, 1912, in Oran, daughter of the late Ernest and Ida Pobst Prindle, she was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church where she was a member of the Altar Society and Daughters of Isabella.

On Feb. 7, 1935, in Sikeston, she married Albert O. Dame who preceded her in death on Aug. 25, 1988.

Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, W. Terry and Janet Dame of Sikeston; one brother, Ernest Prindle of Oran; three granddaughters, Melanie Moore of St. Louis, Melinda Wilferth of Los Flores, Calif., and Amanda Dame of Kansas City; and four great-granddaughters, Melanie Blake Gilmore of Los Flores and Hannah Moore, Campbell Moore and Amelia Moore of Sikeston.

Three brothers and four sisters also preceded her in death.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel where a prayer service is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Francis Xavier Church with the Rev. Stephen Schneider, pastor, officiating.

Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.

Pallbearers will be: Bill Corrigan, John Hux Jr., Rob Mitchell, Steve Sikes, James G. Bucher and Rene DeKriek.

Honorary pallbearers will be: Troy Wilson, Ed Fuchs, Phil Barkett and Tom Nunnelee.
