Mary Pearson

BELL CITY - Mary Kathryn Pearson, 80, formerly of Sikeston, died Nov. 11, 2001, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born May 2, 1921, in Niles, Ohio, daughter of the late Sidney "Sid" and Margaret Jane Beardsley Mullins, she was a member of Temple of Faith General Baptist Church in Sikeston.

Her first husband, John Henry Graham, preceded her in death on Dec. 21, 1984.

On May 21, 1994, she married Alfred Dee Pearson who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, James Chester and Betty Graham of Clarkton; one daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Joe Sebourn of Sikeston; three brothers, Willis Mullins of Doniphan, Walter Mullins of Naches, Wash., and Leo Mullins of Florissant; four sisters, Margaret Henderson of Angleton, Texas, Ruth Harris of Selah, Wash., Jeanette Lambert of Flat Rock, Ala., and Trease Ellison of West Plains; five grandchildren, J.L. Graham of Grand Junction, Colo., Victoria Berry and Regina McClindon of Gideon, Michele Sebourn of Morehouse and Michael Sebourn of Columbia; three stepgrandchildren, Angie Senter and Victoria Wrather of Kennett and Sherry Senter of Kansas City; and seven great-granddaughters.

One sister, Helen Rowena Rosenburg, also preceded her in death.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston, where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Loy Miller, pastor of Temple of Faith General Baptist Church, will officiate assisted by the Rev. Leo Mullins.

Burial will follow in the Stanfield Cemetery at Clarkton.

Pallbearers will be: Clyde Ellison, Sidney Ellison, Michael Sebourn, Timothy Harris, Ray Sebourn and Jerry Sebourn.
