Rosemary Elbeck

BERTRAND - Rosemary Eibeck, 74, died at 10:05 p.m. July 17, 2004, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born Jan. 8, 1930, in St. Louis, her parents died shortly after her birth. She was raised in foster care until age 17 and was of the Catholic belief. For 25 years she worked as a secretary for Hertz Car Rental in St. Louis. She then moved to Dexter, where she was a certified nurse aide until retiring and moved to Bertrand in 2002.

Survivors include: one brother, John Eibeck of St. Louis; and a special friend and caretaker, Sandy Miller of Charleston.

Visitation is from 2 p.m. Thursday until service time at 3 p.m. at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. The Rev. Stephen Schneider, pastor of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sikeston, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie.
