MOREHOUSE - Mrs. J.W. Bryant suffered second degree burns on her face, throat, arms and legs. She was holding a five-gallon container of kerosene when it exploded.
SIKESTON - Mrs. Tom Allen lost a diamond pin valued at $2,000 in downtown Sikeston yesterday. The pin contains a circle of diamonds mounted on a platinum base. Mrs. Allen retraced her steps made while shopping but was unable to locate the pin.
SIKESTON - Local residents are flashing "the big bucks." A survey of area businesses revealed customers paying their bills with those of a larger denomination than the usual $20.

SIKESTON - The Southeast Missouri Big Friends/Little Friends Inc., former Big Brothers/Big Sisters, recently installed their 1992 officers. The are Richard J. Menz, president; Sharon Chouinard, treasurer; Sondra Meadows, secretary; and Larry Bohannon, vice president. The organization delivers free services to needy children in the single/disabled parent environment by matching adult volunteers with children in the single parent home.
