SCOTT CITY - Wilma Lee Middleton, 55, died Jan. 8, 2002, in Miner.

Born Oct. 21, 1946, in Dexter, daughter of Willene Kimbrel Clark of Dexter and the late J.L. Simpson Jr., she attended Bloomfield High School and was a former hairdresser in Bloomfield and Dexter. She was a member of Father's Arms Fellowship in Scott City.

On Nov. 5, 1982, at Advance, she married Gary Middleton who survives of the home.

Survivors in addition to her husband and mother include: two sons and daughter-in-law, Ron and Sheila Edwards II of Dexter and Parish Lee Edwards and fiancee Jessica Johnston of Cape Girardeau; one brother, Jerry Leland Simpson of Dexter; two sisters, Glenda Sue Johnson of Dexter and Patty Musgrave of Bloomfield; and four grandchildren.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter, where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday. The Rev. David Hardin and the Rev. Karen Oldham will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
