Beatrice Hagy

DEXTER - Beatrice Hagy died Jan. 17, 2002, at the Three Rivers Healthcare South Campus in Poplar Bluff.

Born Feb. 16, 1925, in Poplar Bluff, daughter of the late Ernest and Nancy Jones Scott, she lived in Dudley for many years before moving to Dexter three years ago. She attended the Church of God in Dudley.

On May 11, 1943, in Poplar Bluff, she married John Hagy who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: three sons, John Hagy Jr. of Dexter, Earl Hagy of Bel-Ridge and James Hagy of Titusville, Fla.; nine daughters, Nellie Runyon of Olney, Ill., Juanita Willoughby of Quapaw, Okla., Vida Scott of Dudley, Carolyn Fielder of Benton and Doris Price, Cora Magarian, Sandra Bayless, Claudia Scott and Wanda Drews of Dexter; and 32 grandchildren and 54 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sons, Ernest Hagy, Vincent Hagy and Estel Hagy; and four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, where services are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. Kent Miller of Poplar Bluff and the Rev. Jerry Metcalf of Puxico will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Hagy Cemetery.
