Doris McBeath

EAST PRAIRIE - Doris LaVerne McBeath, 73, formerly of Lilbourn, died at 1:50 a.m. Nov. 21, 2001, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born March 25, 1928, in Danville, Ill., she was the daughter of the late Oliver and Edna Cramer Schwanderman.

Survivors include: two sons, Roland C. McBeath of East Prairie and Dr. John Jonikas of Joplin; and two grandsons, Joshua R. McBeath and Jeremy A. McBeath of Covington, Ind.

One son, Alton Lee McBeath, preceded her in death in 1979.

No services were conducted.

Shelby Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
