Roy Fisher

PORTAGEVILLE - Roy Fisher, 65, died Dec. 8, 2001, at his home.

Born Dec. 28, 1935, in Portageville, he was the son of the late Cecil Clyde and Forrester Fisher.

He was married to Bobbie J. Scott Lasky of Hermann who survives.

Other survivors include: one son, Roy Thomas Fisher Jr. of Portageville; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Debby Nolting of New Haven, Kathy and Dennis Kelley of Hermann and Melissa and Donald Woods of Owensville; one brother, Rondal Fisher of Portageville; one sister, Juanita Giesel of St. Louis; and 12 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were two brothers, Eastman Fisher and Cecil Clyde Fisher Jr.; and one sister, Loretta Fisher.

Services were conducted at 10 a.m. today at DeLisle Funeral Home with the Rev. Eugene Poole officiating.

Burial followed in the Portageville Cemetery.

His grandsons served as pallbearers.
