James Young

DEXTER - James H. "Frog" Young, 80, died Jan. 21, 2002, at his home in Dexter.

Born Aug. 14, 1921, in Clines Island to the late Arthur and Sadie Tankersley Young, he had worked for Ford Motor Co. for 30 years before moving to Dexter 13 1/2 years ago. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.

On July 28, 1939, at Dexter he married Lillian A. Rickman, who survives.

Other survivors include: one son, James E. Young of Dexter; one daughter, Judy Patterson of Clarkston, Mich.; one brother, Earl Young of Dexter; and one grandchild and one great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter where services will be held at 10:30 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. M.L. Duffie of Dexter will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Hagy Cemetery at Dexter.
