Robert Campbell

HAYWOOD CITY - Robert Campbell, 67, died Feb. 25, 2002, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born April 2, 1934, in Scooba, Miss., son of the late Willie Donner and Sadie Patterson Campbell, he had worked at a cement plant and was a self-employed newsstand operator in Chicago, Ill., before retiring.

His wife, Odessa Campbell, preceded him in death in June 1985.

Survivors include: four sons, Mitchell Campbell, Robert Campbell Jr. and Jeffery Campbell of East Chicago, Ind., and Joseph Campbell of Chicago; one daughter, Nora Jean Campbell of East Chicago; two brothers, Spencer Campbell of Batavia, Ill., and Joseph Campbell of Mobile, Ala.; and one sister, Carrie Jenkins of Batavia.

Two daughters also preceded him in death.

Visitation is from 11 a.m. Saturday until service time at noon at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston.

Burial will follow in the Haywood City Cemetery.
