Glenda Brock

EAST PRAIRIE - Glenda Rhae Brock, 55, formerly of Anniston, died at 7:25 a.m. Dec. 16, 2001, at the East Prairie Nursing Center.

Born Nov. 29, 1946, in Cairo, Ill., daughter of Frances Nadine Calhoun Houser of East Prairie and the late Raythel Lee Brock, she lived in Anniston most of her life and was a member of the Anniston Christian Church.

Survivors in addition to her mother include: three sons, Freddie Organ of Anniston and Hoyt Carter and Ivan Jones of East Prairie; and two grandchildren, Chelsie Poe of Seattle, Wash., and Andrew Garnett of East Prairie.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Kathy Lou Manthey.

Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Bob Burnes, officiating.

Burial will follow in the Anniston Cemetery.
