Jerry Powell

WARRENTON - Jerry R. Powell, 63, formerly of Puxico, died Feb. 25, 2002, at his home.

Born March 9, 1938, in Puxico, son of the late John and Mildred Kitchen Powell, he lived in the St. Louis area for 45 years.

On Sept. 4, 1957, in St. Louis, he married Susan Clubb who survives of St. Louis.

Other survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Jenita and Steve Miller of St. Louis; one sister, Barbara Smith of Puxico; and two granddaughters, Amanda Miller and Aimee Miller of St. Louis.

He was preceded in death by one son, Stephen Wayne Powell; and one sister, Catherine Lorraine Powell.

Services were conducted at 10 a.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico with the Rev. Buzz Brown of Puxico, officiating.

Burial followed in the Puxico Cemetery.
