Glenn Hunt

ARNOLD - Glenn A. Hunt, 91, formerly of Dexter, died Jan. 23, 2002, at the Woodland Manor Nursing Center in Arnold.

Born Jan. 29, 1910, at Dudley, son of the late James Milton and Minerva Powell Hunt, he was a member of the Dexter Church of Christ. He was a trackman with the Missouri Pacific Railroad before retiring.

On Dec. 20, 1933, at Dudley, he married Veona V. Kilmer who preceded him in death on Dec. 5, 1980. He and Ruby Miller were married Feb. 18, 1983, at Dexter and she died Dec. 4, 1996.

Survivors include: four sons, Ronnie Lee Hunt and Carlton Leroy Hunt of Arnold, Thomas Albert Wayne Hunt of Diamond Head, Miss., and Noel Nelson Hunt of Bowling Green, Ky.; and 11 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by one son, James Glendal Hunt; and one stepdaughter, Irene Smith.

Visitation is from 4:30 to 9 p.m. Friday at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday. Tim Jorgensen and Dale Grissom will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
