Albert Weaver
PORTAGEVILLE - Albert Lee Weaver, 83, died Jan. 22, 2002, at the Portageville Nursing Center.
Born Sept. 1, 1918, in Sikeston, son of the late Arvil Columbus and Mary Ellen Daniel Weaver, he was affiliated with the Church of Christ in Portageville.
On April 16, 1942, in New Madrid, he married Edith Leora Friel who preceded him in death on Dec. 10, 1996.
Survivors include: three sons, Elvis Weaver of Portageville, Jerry Weaver of Tallapoosa and Bobby Weaver of Kennett; four daughters, Martha Johnson of Clarkton and Mary Ann Weaver, Shirley McCasland and Ruby Wilkerson of Portageville; his stepmother, June Lee Johnson of Tallapoosa; four brothers, Marion Weaver of Venice, Calif., David Weaver of Portageville, Junior Weaver of Tallapoosa and Richard Weaver of Aquilla; two sisters, Pearl Roberts of Oran and Rende Robertson of Malden; and nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Also preceding him in death were one son, Buddy Weaver; and five brothers, Connie Weaver, Dallas Weaver, Billy Weaver, Leonard Graves and Johnny Graves.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. today at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday with Dewight Bryant officiating.
Burial will follow in the Mount Gilead Cemetery at Clarkton.
