Bonnie Long

ST. LOUIS - Bonnie Houke Long, 62, died Jan. 19, 2002, at her home.

Born Jan. 4, 1940, at Vanduser, daughter of the late Hosea Clayton and Ines Claire Long, she was a graduate of Vanduser High School and was employed at Laclede Gas Company in St. Louis until her retirement.

On Nov. 27, 1958, she married L. Dale Houke who preceded her in death.

Survivors include: one son, Kevun Houke of Kansas City; one daughter, Vikki Houke Matzen of Austin, Texas; and one grandson, Jeremy Matzen of Austin.

She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Bill Long, James "J.R." Long and J. D. "Bub" Long.

A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
