Christine Davidson

WYATT - Christine Brown Davidson, 83, died at 6 a.m. Jan. 24, 2002, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born Nov. 22, 1918, in Carlisle County, Ky., daughter of the late Samuel Oscar "S.O." and Gertrude Caldwell Brown, she lived in Wyatt most of her life and was a member of the Wyatt Baptist Church. She had been employed with Renee Insurance in Cairo, Ill., and then the Scott-Huff Insurance Agency in Sikeston before retiring in 1980.

On Dec. 27, 1957, she married Max Murphy Davidson who preceded her in death on Sept. 21, 1981.

Survivors include: two brothers, Billy Brown and Johnny Brown of Wyatt; four sisters, Louise Lynn of Benton, Mildred Fesmire of Paducah, Ky., Peggy Griggs of Charleston and Sharon Roberts of Jefferson City; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston, where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Dean Wallace, pastor of the Wyatt Baptist Church, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the IOOF Cemetery near Charleston.

Pallbearers will be: Todd Brown, Larry Brown, Samuel Brown, Gary Lynn, Terry Lynn and Richard Griggs.
