Paul Davis
DEXTER - William Paul Davis, 89, died Feb. 27, 2002, at his home.
Born March 19, 1912, at Malden, son of the late Joseph and Lena Jann Davis, he was a farmer and was a bus driver for Dexter Public Schools for 20 years. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Dexter.
On March 4, 1953, at Piggott, Ark., he married Mary F. Howell who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son, William "Bill" Davis of Rolling Fork, Miss.; three daughters, Elizabeth L. Davis Combs of Urbana, Ill., Peggy S. Davis Stott of Lake St. Louis and Rita Davis McKain of Dexter; and 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
One brother, Herman Davis, preceded him in death.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter, where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Gerald Beam and the Rev. Jerrold Lake will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
